In August, I spoke with Retell AI's (YC W24) founders to join as a product designer. To assess my skills, they wanted me to work on their core dashboard, and tasked me with solving 1-2 problems I could find with the dashboard/product.
While I didn’t get the role, it’s pretty cool to see that some of the ideas I proposed during the process were implemented in their product.
Although they expressed that they liked my solution, unfortunately their needs shifted to a different type of role:
